The TATEYAMA KAGAKU GROUP was born in Toyama in 1958, with the founding of TATEYAMA KAGAKU INDUSTRY to manufacture carbon film resistors.

Since then, beyond resistors of all kinds, we have grown our Device Solutions business centered on temperature sensors and wireless equipment, our FA Solutions business handling production facilities and manufacturing equipment, and our System Solutions business focused on developing FA systems, security systems, applications and software. Expanding further into fields such as medicine and energy, we have always kept our sights on new frontiers.
