TATEYAMA

Governance

Basic Approach

The TATEYAMA KAGAKU GROUP respects international codes of conduct, recognizes its corporate social responsibility, and contributes to a sustainable society through honest business management.

Compliance and Whistleblower Program

Code of Conduct

To set out clearly how it approaches legal compliance and business ethics, the TATEYAMA KAGAKU GROUP established the TATEYAMA KAGAKU GROUP Code of Conduct in 2013. Guided by the Code, every officer and employee is conscious of their social responsibility and conducts business fairly and honestly.

Compliance

For the TATEYAMA KAGAKU GROUP, compliance means more than observing laws and internal rules: it means acting fairly and honestly on the basis of high ethical standards and meeting the expectations of every stakeholder. We treat compliance as the foundation of our business, and by ensuring that each officer and employee acts responsibly, we aim to remain a company that society can trust.

Whistleblower Program

The TATEYAMA KAGAKU GROUP operates an internal reporting channel, the Group Hotline, so that misconduct, legal violations, and compliance breaches in our business can be detected and corrected early. We provide an environment in which officers and employees can seek advice or report concerns with confidence, and we take appropriate steps to ensure that whistleblowers suffer no disadvantage.

Information Security

Overview

As digitalization advances, information assets grow more valuable — and so do the risks of data leaks and cyberattacks. The TATEYAMA KAGAKU GROUP treats information security as a key management issue and works to sustain its business and retain the trust of society by managing and protecting its information assets appropriately.

Basic Information Security Policy

To protect our information assets appropriately and clarify responsibilities and authority for information security, we have established the TATEYAMA KAGAKU GROUP Basic Information Security Policy.

Framework

The TATEYAMA KAGAKU GROUP has established a Cyber Security Committee to drive information security measures and the management of information assets. Under a group-wide management structure, we address information security risks and respond swiftly when an incident occurs.

Measures

In line with our Information Security Policy, we implement measures at the human and organizational, physical, and technical levels. We also provide ongoing information security training for all employees, together with comprehension checks, to raise awareness across the group.
