Guided by the principle that protecting safety and health comes before everything else, the TATEYAMA KAGAKU GROUP works to safeguard the safety and health of its employees. We prevent workplace accidents through risk assessments, near-miss reporting, safety patrols, and safety education, and we continue to make our workplaces safer and more comfortable.
We regard occupational safety and health as both a corporate social responsibility and an essential part of respecting human rights. By continually raising safety awareness and reducing latent workplace risks, we are working toward workplaces where employees can feel secure and toward zero occupational accidents.
Occupational Safety and Health Policy
To safeguard the safety and health of our employees and build safe, comfortable workplaces, we have established the TATEYAMA KAGAKU GROUP Occupational Safety and Health Policy.
Management Structure
Our safety and health management structure brings together the General Affairs Department, which oversees safety and health, and the management organization of each business unit. Activities are carried out under an annual safety and health plan, and the Safety and Health Committee meets monthly to discuss workplace safety, health management, fire and disaster prevention, traffic safety, and related matters.
We also provide ongoing safety education and training to raise safety awareness among employees and prevent workplace accidents.
Preventing Occupational Accidents
To prevent occupational accidents, the TATEYAMA KAGAKU GROUP conducts risk assessments, inspects workplaces through safety patrols, and collects and shares near-miss cases. Through these activities, we identify and correct hazards early and work to prevent accidents before they occur. We will continue to reduce latent workplace risks and raise safety awareness, creating a work environment where everyone can work safely and with peace of mind.
